2004-06 NMI 90th Anniversary Project

Offering Goal: $3.5 million
(Based on $7.00 per attendee in Sunday morning worship)
Our goal for the NEO District is $30,527. 

The goals for each church on the NEO district have been submitted to your NMI President.

• God is calling men and women to full-time ministry in unprecedented numbers.
• Education and hands-on experience combine to properly prepare them for ministry.
• Many pastors in world mission regions and non-English congregations in the United States and Canada do not have Wesleyan-Holiness resource materials in their languages. These are desperately needed to equip them for ordination, to develop sermons, and to prepare discipleship helps.

NMI has targeted this need for its 90th Anniversary Project offering—providing tools for pastors in the form of books or in electronic format where appropriate.

The International Board of Education and the World Mission Department will identify needs and ensure that pastors most in need are resourced with a library of books in their own languages.

• Biblical resources
• Doctrine and theology
• Pastoral theology
• Church history
• The Church of the Nazarene Manual and church governance
   

• Increase the quality of preparation for ordination because pastors will have books available in their own languages.
• Develop targeted instructional texts and resources for pastors by this project coming alongside existing programs.
• Strengthen evangelical efforts, such as the JESUS film, World Mission Broadcast, and Work & Witness.
